These guidelines explain important expectations for using our website and participating in Compassion in Action's Christmas assistance program.
Christmas Assistance
Christmas toy assistance is available for children from newborn through age 13. Families may request Christmas toys, Christmas food, or both.
Online Applications Only
Compassion in Action of Clackamas County does not accept paper applications. All Christmas assistance applications must be completed and submitted through the organization’s online application portal.
One Application Per Household
Only one application per household may be submitted. A child may not be listed on more than one application. Duplicate or multiple applications may result in the application being withdrawn from consideration.
No Guarantee of Assistance
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or assistance. Assistance depends on program requirements, available donations, resources, and capacity.
Gift Requests
Favorite things, toy wishes, gift ideas, and preferences are used as shopping guidance. Compassion in Action cannot guarantee a specific toy, brand, item, or gift.
Pickup Required
Compassion in Action does not offer delivery. All approved Christmas toy and food packages must be picked up at the designated distribution location and time communicated to the family.
Accurate Information
Applicants are expected to provide complete and accurate information to the best of their knowledge. Compassion in Action may request clarification or additional information before making an application decision.
Donations
Compassion in Action of Clackamas County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donations initiated through our website are completed separately through Venmo; submitting donation information on the website does not itself process or charge a donation. Donation receipts will reflect the contribution received and any goods or services provided in exchange, when applicable.
Website Availability
We work to keep website information accurate and available, but the website may occasionally be changed, updated, or temporarily unavailable. Program dates, capacity, procedures, and availability may change from year to year.

Use of information submitted through the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
